Rustic elegance is the key to our Aspen Log Furniture collection. Each log is selectively harvested, no two items will be the same because of the distinctive characteristics of the logs. Exceptional craftsmanship create a one of a kind beauty to our Cedar Rustic Log Furniturewhich is hard to emulate. Our craftsman utililze the handcrafted methods of construction. Each log is hand peeled using a drawknife, and then hand sanded. All joints are crafted using the mortise and tenon construction technique, with both glue and screws to employ maximum strength. To further enhance the beauty, the finishing is a multi layering of low gloss pre-catalyzed lacquer, which provides excellent water and chemical resistance. Each coat is sanded between applications for a smooth silky feel. Standard post sizes of this aspen log furniture are between 6 and 8 inches. Twin, full, queen, and king (approx. size each bed is unique due to different log diameters.
