  • These Buffalo Hides (Regular Size) will average 35' to 45' square ft. Or 5'x6' to 6'x7'. (X Large) will average 50 to 60 sq ft.
  • Covering up with a bison robe is wonderful in front of a roaring winter fireplace, and will surely take you back in history when that is all our ancestors had for warmth
  • Not all Buffalo Hides are the same in quality as a customer would think, or expect. A shopper has to be very careful and knowledgable in knowing what to look for. Timberline takes care of that for you, so you the customer knows, that they are purchasing a quality product. Not all tannerys are the same, and some do a very poor job in the tanning process of buffalo robes. We can assure you that we only use the best tannery facilitiy available.

    These robes come from ranches in Montana,Wyoming and North Dakota. The best buffalo hides are harvested in December and January, when cold weather makes for the "Thickest of Winter Robes." Great for bed spreads, wall hanging or covering up with on those cold winter evenings.
