    Native American Turquoise Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet.

    An absolutely stunning creation of Silver and Turquoise. Talented and creative, the Navajo artist has combined genuine Turquoise cabochons and gleaming Sterling Silver in a traditional Pueblo Indian design. This Turquoise closely resembles Landers Blue Turquoise. The Turquoise cabs are set in hand cut Sterling Silver bezels. Hand twisted Sterling Silver wires, large hand made Sterling Silver dots, and Sterling Silver leaf figures add a glorious shine to this bracelet. It is 1-1/4" wide. It will fit an 6-1/2" to an 7-1/2" wrist. Stamped Sterling, signed by the artist with our hallmark.

The Zuni believe that blue turquoise was male and of the sky and green turquoise was female and of the earth. Pueblo Indians thought that its color was stolen from the sky. In Hopi legend the lizard who travels between the above and the below, excretes turquoise and that the stone can hold back floods. The Apache felt that turquoise on a gun or bow made it shoot straight. The Navajo consider it as good fortune to wear and believe it could appease the Wind Spirit.
