Rustic elegance is the key to our Aspen Log Entertainment Center. Drawers are constructed using dovetail construction and move on 100% 75 lb. metal glides. Each log is selectively harvested, no two items will be the same because of the distinctive characteristics of the logs. Exceptional craftsmanship create a one of a kind beauty which is hard to emulate. Our craftsman utililze the handcrafted methods of construction. Each log is hand peeled using a drawknife, and then hand sanded. All joints are crafted using the mortise and tenon construction technique, with both glue and screws to employ maximum strength. All non log components are hand sanded and kiln dried pine.To further enhance the beauty, the finishing is a multi layering of low gloss pre-catalyzed lacquer, which provides excellent water and chemical resistance. Each coat is sanded between applications for a smooth silky feel. The beauty of the wood and log combination are provided compliments of Mother Nature giving each piece a uniqueness in color variations (brown,grey,sunburst orange,and tan) which may be found through out the wood. This is what makes this furniture the most sought after western furnishing on the market. Diameter of nightstands legs will vary from 2 1/2 to 3 inches.
